Katherine is a Chicago-based creative with a unique dual background in design and marketing strategy. With more than five years of experience, she specializes in motion graphics, branding and multi-platform content creation, developing high-quality digital, print and animated visuals for industries ranging from agriculture to corporate media.
In her role as a DeanHouston graphic designer, Katherine’s responsibilities will include:
- Executing strategically driven creative work for DeanHouston clients
- Creating complex 2D and 3D product animations and illustrations
- Supporting the Digital team by providing web layouts and graphics
- Providing post-production support
- Collaborating with account managers and other teams
Her early career began in news media, where she designed graphics and animations for national broadcasts at NewsNation. She has since expanded her expertise in both agency and freelance roles, producing campaigns, event materials and social content with a consistent focus on strategic, impactful design.
Katherine’s career highlights include:
- Leading motion and static design projects at Ross Creative Works for ad campaigns, branding and event materials.
- Collaborating globally at Shure Incorporated on high-profile marketing campaigns, including Amazon Prime Day.
- Driving engagement growth as Marketing Chair for the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network.
Katherine has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and Marketing from North Central College, where she played on the women’s tennis team and earned the Outstanding Major Award in both fields. Outside of work, you’ll likely find Katherine on the tennis court, hanging out with her dog, or exploring Chicago.
